Taylor Dye, One-Half of the Country Music Duo Maddie & Tae, Has Welcomed a Baby Boy With Her Husband Josh Kerr.
The couple announced they were expecting their second child back in June with an adorable photo shared on social media. In the picture, they’re on a boat, smiling alongside their 2-year-old daughter, Leighton, who proudly holds up the ultrasound photos.
“Baby BOY joining us this fall and we couldn’t be more excited,” the caption read.

Their Baby Boy “Surprised” the Couple on October 29 in Nashville, TN.
Their newborn son, named Chapel Shields Kerr, weighed in at 3 pounds 4.9 ounces and measured 15 inches long, according to People.
“Chapel Shields Kerr surprised us on October 29th and we are absolutely in love with our perfect little boy,” Dye wrote in the caption of the announcement.
She also shared that baby Chapel is currently in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit), where he’s receiving specialized care.
“He’s making big moves in the NICU and we can’t wait to have him home with us soon.”

Taylor Dye has been open about the challenges she’s faced throughout both of her pregnancies, sharing her journey with fans.

During her first pregnancy with her daughter, she revealed that she gave birth three months early after being hospitalized for over a month following her routine 24-week checkup.
Thankfully, Dye was able to deliver safely, and after 53 days in the NICU, baby Leighton was finally able to come home.
