Not long after they married in July 2019, country artist/radio personality Chuck Wicks and his wife, Kasi, began trying for a baby. But after months of trying, they learned Chuck suffers from male infertility.
“As a man, the last thing you want someone to tell you is you can’t do this,” the “Stealing Cinderella” singer told People. “It makes you feel small. It makes you feel like you’re not a man.”
The couple turned toward IVF to conceive their much-wanted child. They received support from Kasi’s brother, Jason Aldean, and his wife, Brittany, who also relied on IVF to conceive their son and daughter, Memphis (age two) and Navy (age one).
Jason and Brittany first recommended their doctors to Chuck and Kasi, then offered them a wealth of encouragement throughout their IVF journey.
“Their attitude was so positive,” Kasi told People. “They just helped us stay positive, as well.”
That positivity and perseverance paid off.
IVF was successful, and Kasi is now pregnant with the couple’s first child, a baby boy. She and Chuck announced the happy news on social media on June 17.
“We simply cannot wait to meet this baby BOY!!!” Kasi wrote in her post. “It has been such an emotional journey, but we are so thankful for the IVF process and our amazing Drs. and nurses.”

Chuck echoed his wife’s sentiments in his own post:
“I have a dreamed of this moment for a long time,” he said. “I’m so excited to share with all of you that @kasirosa and I are HAVING A BABY!!! It has been an emotional roller coaster to say the least. We had to take the IVF route to get it done and we wanted to share our story with all of you of our journey because infertility is a real thing and can effect anyone for many different reasons.”

Kasi already has three daughters from her previous marriage. She adopted her eldest daughters, Makenzie (age 21) and Madison (age 19) while she was marriage to their father, since their biological mother passed away. Kasi and her ex-husband went on to have a daughter of their own, Avery (age nine).
With a baby boy joining the family in December, everyone is preparing for the “different dynamic” that will come with his arrival. But the couple couldn’t be more excited…and Chuck is especially looking forward to being a father to a son.
“I want my boy to grow up looking up to his daddy,” he told People. “I want to provide for him in every single way.“
Just a year ago, Kasi and Chuck had a beautiful wedding, and now they’re preparing to add to their beautiful family! Join us in congratulating them on the upcoming arrival of their baby boy!
