What is Sister Wives?
Sister Wives was a reality show on TLC that premiered on September 26, 2010. It followed Kody Brown, a fundamentalist Mormon, and his wives Robyn, Meri, Janelle, and Christine, as well as their combined 18 children. At the time of the show’s premiere, only 12 children were born, and he was about to marry Robyn.
Garrison was just 11 years old when the show premiered.
The show has continued over the last 13 years and even spawned a couple spin-off series, Becoming Sister Wives and Cooking with Christine.
Legally, Kody was only legally married to Meri, but said his other marriages were “spiritual unions.” He and Christine parted ways in 2021, a year later Janelle also left. He and Meri got divorced in 2023, so he was able to legally marry Robyn.
