Shania Twain is celebrating a big milestone birthday!
The “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” singer rang in her 60th birthday on Thursday, August 28. And to celebrate the special day, Twain shared a photo of herself from the 1980s that many people have never seen before.
“Happy birthday to me! How can I be 60? So glad to have kept some photos from this time in the 80s when I had no idea what was ahead of me and Shania f—ing Twain didn’t exist yet,” she wrote in the caption of the throwback photo.
For those who may not know, Twain was born Eileen Regina Edwards before she became the global country music superstar we know today.

Twain continued, “I can’t begin to explain how grateful I am for the life that i have. For my family, friends, fans and the inspiration I get from all of you. I’ve tried to stay true to myself along the way and that’s my intention moving forward into the next chapter.”
Shania Twain Donates $25,000 to Multiple Cities Nationwide
Shania Twain recently wrapped up her Live in Concert summer tour earlier this month, traveling across the U.S. and Canada.
But before closing out her shows, Twain made it her mission to give back in a big way. She vowed to donate one million meals to food banks across the nation.
She promised that at every stop on her tour, her Shania Twain Foundation would donate to a local food bank.
Well, Twain kept her promise. She shared in a post on social media that she and her team contributed $25,000 in each city.
The money will go directly toward helping families in need and supporting food security.
