When Avery turned one, Scotty and Gabi celebrated with their friends and family at a Toy Story-themed party. This year, the McCreerys celebrated their son’s 2nd birthday with a Cars-themed gathering.
Scotty and Gabi shared a bunch of adorable photos and videos from Avery’s party. A banner hanging up at the gathering displayed the message “Two fast.”
The pictures show Avery sitting in a red ride-on toy car while wearing a cute Cars outfit. His cake was also Cars-themed, with Lightning McQueen and Mater figurines.
Avery also received a special gift for his 2nd birthday…a toy drum kit! Scotty and Gabi shared a video of Avery’s “first drum solo” in their slideshow about his birthday party.
The clip shows Avery enthusiastically sitting down at his new drum kit. He immediately starts hitting the pedal on the bass drum before grabbing his drumsticks and going wild on the other drums.
The partygoers cheered like wild, and Avery let out an excited cheer of his own. Someone (presumably Scotty) started singing Tom Petty‘s “Free Fallin’.”
But Avery’s drum solo was short-lived. He quickly and happily ran away while his family laughed.
