Scotty McCreery’s son, Avery, stole the spotlight at one of his dad’s shows.
Scotty is currently on his Two for the Road tour, and at a recent concert, he brought Avery on stage while performing his song “Love Like This.”
For those who don’t know, Scotty actually wrote “Love Like This” the night his son was born. He and his wife, Gabi, welcomed their first child in 2022, and with all the emotions of becoming a parent, he poured his feelings into the lyrics.
“When I first laid eyes on you / That’s when I knew / I’ve never known a love like this / I’ve never felt this way / Girl, I think I might have thought I did / But everything changed today.”
So, it was only fitting that Avery joined his country star dad when he sang the song live on stage. Scotty shared a video of the adorable moment on his Instagram account on Tuesday, November 25.
In the clip, Avery walks hand-in-hand with his dad. The sweet three-year-old is wearing protective headphones to block out the loud music, along with little denim overalls and a T-shirt.
As Scotty sings, he gets down on one knee to be at Avery’s level. At one point, he hands him what looks like a small red toy car to play with while serenading him.
Avery is obviously loving the moment, because he has a huge grin on his face the entire time.
Fans couldn’t get enough of the sweet father-son performance. Many left comments raving how adorable it was, leaving messages such as:

Scotty McCreery And His Wife Recently Welcomed Their Second Child
Scotty and Gabi McCreery have been adjusting to life as parents of two recently.
On September 23, they announced the safe arrival of their second son, a baby boy named Oliver Cooke McCreery. Scotty and Gabi shared the news through a carousel of photos of baby Oliver and the rest of his family in the hospital.
Shortly after baby Oliver’s birth, Scotty made an appearance on the Big D & Bubba radio show to give fans an update on how life has been as a family of four.
“It’s been a whirlwind the last few days,” Scotty said.
He also shared if he and Gabi are wanting more children in the future.
“We’ll see down the road, ya know? All in God’s plan. But right now, we’re just trying to catch up on sleep. We’ve gone from zone defense to man-to-man, so we’re all over the house.”
