Scotty McCreery and his wife Gabi expressed their gratitude for the most important thing—family—during the Thanksgiving holiday.
A few days after Thanksgiving, Scotty and Gabi shared a family photo on social media with their one-year-old son, Avery, who joyfully posed for the camera in his adorable overalls and beanie.
“Thankful for our little turkey,” the post’s caption read.

Scotty and Gabi welcomed their first child on October 24, 2022, 11 days earlier than the originally anticipated due date. They named him Merrick “Avery” McCreery after Gabi’s father who is also named Merrick.

McCreery regularly provides glimpses into his family life for fans. The couple recently celebrated their son’s first birthday on October 24. In honor of the occasion, they arranged a special Toy Story-themed birthday party. McCreery went all out for the occasion, donning a cowboy hat and a cow-print sheriff’s vest.
