Sadie Robertson Gave Birth To Her Third Child On August 1st
Duck Dynasty: The Revival aired its season finale on August 3, and it featured the gender reveal for Sadie Robertson Huff’s third child with her husband, Christian Huff.
The episode showed the entire family getting together for an epic gender reveal which was supposed to have Christian shooting a bow and arrow at a target that had a hockey puck-sized target filled with blue or pink powder.
Unfortunately, he missed, and Sadie’s mom’s assistant set off a confetti cannon that revealed Sadie and Christian were having a girl! Christian was extra determined, so he kept trying to shoot the target. After a few missed shots, Willie stepped in to help Christian and the explosion of powder went everywhere!
After the gender reveal episode aired, Sadie took to Instagram to reveal another secret – she had the baby a couple days prior!
“and while we are having a reveal party…Meet Kit Carroway Huff :),” she captioned a series of photos.
The couple, who have been married nearly six years, revealed that Kit means “Bearing Christ, Pure” and the baby’s middle name, Carroway, is Sadie’s middle name, but also her Mamaw Kay’s maiden name.
Kay had a hilarious reaction to finding out Kit was named after her, saying, “Oh my gosh! No one has ever done that for me before!”
Her response had grown men nearly crying from laughter due to the fact that Sadie is named after her, and also another great-grandchild!
Sadie Shares More Photos Of Baby Kit
Recently, Sadie has been sharing some extremely precious photos of her older daughters, Honey and Haven, bonding with their baby sister Kit.
Her most recent post, on August 24, featured three new photos of Kit as well as some precious snapshots of their life recently, including a sweet note Christian left her around the house as she is dealing with all the things that come with being postpartum.
Our favorite new photo of Kit is the second slide, where she is getting burped and she just looks so happy and full of milk!
