Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson gave birth to her first child on Tuesday, May 11. She and her husband, Christian Huff, announced their daughter, Honey James Huff’s birth on Instagram the next day.
“We saw a million little miracles yesterday – the best one being this girl right here… Honey,” Sadie wrote alongside four photos.

Just a few days later, Sadie and Christian were able to take Honey home, and they celebrated with an Instagram post.

Once they got home, the married couple of one year took in all that parenting a newborn has to offer: diaper changes, snuggles, feedings, little sleep. You know…the good stuff!
Honey is now officially one week old and has already taught Sadie so much! The new mom took to Instagram to celebrate that milestone, and also reflect on the lessons she has learned. Those lessons include the way Honey came into the world, what she had to go through to see her miracle born, her body is “much more than an image.”
And finally, “Everyday single day I have a purpose. the greatest job in the world – being your mama,” she wrote.
