Sadie Robertson Talks About The Hardships Her Family Has Been Facing
Sadie Robertson and her husband, Christian, opened up on her podcast Whoa That’s Good this week to discuss some hardships their family has been facing recently.
The couple explained that most times Sadie is about to speak at a big conference or event to share the gospel, their little family faces some sort of major struggle.
They shared how on a trip for a recent speaking engagement, their baby girl, Haven (2) got extremely sick, their car was broken into, and Sadie faced extreme exhaustion at 8 months pregnant, among other things.
Sadie shared how she learned spiritual warfare is incredibly real, but with God’s protection she persisted and felt the real life lessons allowed her to reach those she was preaching to.
The two said despite six days of deep challenges, they saw the Lord move and on the other side they realized He was always with them and that he was their shield.
“You have to know that God holds the victory,” Sadie shared. “And you have to know that these moments are temporary and you’re going to get through them and you have to speak that over your family.”
Sadie’s Third Pregnancy Has Come With A Few Scares
Earlier this year, Sadie revealed she was briefly hospitalized. She was 22 weeks along in her pregnancy at the time, making it a little more scary than a routine sick visit.
On April 14, Sadie posted a video showing her baby bump with a long caption explaining what happened to her.
She traveled to Florida on April 10 to speak at an event on April 12th in Destin, Florida. The next day, she fell ill from what she thought at the time was food poisoning.
“It was rough,” she wrote in the caption.
She added, “I ended up in the hospital having consistent contractions every 3 minutes for a couple of hours.”
At just 21-22 weeks, we can only imagine how frightening this was for the expecting mom.
“Thankfully I got the best care in a hospital and they were able to confirm I was not in pre-term labor just the aftermath of the food poisoning,” she said.
Sadie couldn’t speak at the event due to her hospitalization, but she could do a Q&A instead.

Sadie & Christian Soak In The Last Days With Just Two Babies
Sadie recently posted some final photos of her family of four, soaking in the final moments before they welcome their third baby.
She shared a sweet carousel of her little family, saying she was “so incredibly grateful for it to grow!”
While she has not revealed the gender of her next baby, she gushed about Honey and Haven being the best big sisters.
Sadie has posted multiple photos documenting her journey this pregnancy, initially posting the announcement on Valentine’s Day this year.
The reality television star and her husband, Christian, told fans on social media that the baby is due mid-August.
