Dancing With The Stars Week Three Had Contestants Perform To Some Of The Internet’s Most Viral Songs
On the latest episode of the dancing competition, all remaining 12 celebrities gave their best performances to a lineup of hit songs for this week’s theme, “TikTok Night.”
The fun night followed a double elimination last week. Viewers ended up saying goodbye to actor and musician Corey Feldman, along with former NBA player Baron Davis.
Robert Irwin Dances A Sizzling Salsa
The theme felt like a perfect fit for this season since the cast is made up of several social media content creators.
One contestant who knows what it’s like to go viral is conservationist and zookeeper Robert Irwin. He ended up performing a lively salsa with his pro dance partner Witney Carson, set to Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby.”
Robert and Witney have been holding strong at the top of the leaderboard since the start, so fans were eager to see what they’d bring this week.
Dressed in a sleek blue iridescent silk button-up and matching trousers, Robert came out strong with the Latin dance that included a spicy shirtless moment.
Judge Carrie Ann Inaba was the first to share her thoughts on the dance, admitting she couldn’t believe Robert was all grown up. She seemed almost lost for words, calling him a great performer but also hinting that she had mixed emotions.
Derek Hough called Robert’s salsa “strong” and “assertive,” but he admitted he wasn’t too impressed with how it came across. He described parts of it as “stiff,” which made some start booing in the crowd.
Bruno Tonioli echoed those critiques.
When it was time for them to get their scores, Robert and Witney walked away with a combined total of 22 out of 30 points from the judges.
