Robert Irwin Wins Season 34 Of Dancing With The Stars
In 2015, Bindi Irwin competed on – and won- Dancing With The Stars. Exactly one decade later, her younger brother Robert defeated his season and earned his very own mirror ball trophy!
Partnered with professional dancer Witney Carson, Robert quickly became a fan favorite on season 34, impressing the judges week after week—an especially remarkable achievement given that he joined Dancing with the Stars with no previous dance experience.
After topping the leaderboard on premiere night, Robert remained a steady presence near the top of the rankings, earning accolades for both his growing skill and his undeniable charisma on the dance floor.
On finale night (November 25), host Alfonso Ribeiro revealed that Robert and Witney were the champions of the season!
Dancing With The Stars Becomes A Family Affair For The Irwins
The entire Irwin family even temporarily moved to Los Angeles to cheer Robert on each week. Bindi, her husband Chandler Powell, their daughter Grace, and Robert and Bindi’s mother Terri Irwin became familiar faces in the ballroom audience, proudly supporting Robert’s journey every step of the way.
The moment Robert and Witney were announced as the winners, Bindi burst onto the dance floor, unable to contain her excitement. She headed straight for Robert, weaving through the confetti and chaos until she reached him.
Bindi also uploaded two photos of the pair holding Mirrorball trophies. The two have now made history as the only pair of celebrity siblings to win Dancing with the Stars.
After his big win, Robert shared that following in his sister’s footsteps “has meant everything to him.”
“This has absolutely changed my life,” he told PEOPLE on finale night.

Robert Brings The Mirror Ball Trophy Home To Australia
On Thursday (January 8), Robert shared an adorable video bringing home the mirror ball trophy to the Australia Zoo.
Robert shared different wildlife giving the mirror ball a smooch, including a giant snake (that he allowed to slither over him!) and a fuzzy, sweet koala.
“The mirrorball has made it home – had to show my friends what I’ve been up to 🪩🐨,” Robert wrote.
Sister Bindi also made an appearance in the video, with her and Robert “cheersing” their trophies together in celebration. Robert’s young niece, Grace, could be seen in the end gushing over the mirror balls.
