Happy’s Place Will Return For A Second Season
Reba McEntire‘s newest hit sitcom, Happy’s Place, will return this fall! The show follows Bobbie, played by Reba, as she unexpectedly inherits her father’s pub after his death.
While navigating her new life and business, Bobbie gets thrown the ultimate curveball when she learns that her new business partner, Isabella, is actually her younger half-sister, whom she never knew existed. Much of the first season followed Bobbie and Isabella as they worked through their challenges and began to establish a relationship.

Many familiar faces appear on Happy’s Place, including former Reba costar Melissa Peterman, and Reba’s real-life boyfriend, Rex Linn. Steve Howey and Christopher Rich also made special cameo appearances on the show’s debut season.
In June, the “Fancy” singer revealed that the second season of her newest show was officially in production. Season 2 of Happy’s Place will officially premiere on Friday, November 7th.
Reba and castmates shared the news earlier this week with a playful video counting down the days until the premiere. Watch it below!
Reba & Rex Tease Potential New Plot Lines For Upcoming Season
Approximately 100 days from the debut of Season 2 of Happy’s Place, Reba shared a new video online to build excitement. She introduces her boyfriend, Rex, and addresses viewers:
“He’s gonna tell you about the second season of Happy’s Place, you better listen and be nice.”
The pair’s real life love story began years ago while working on the movie The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw. While they remained friends after filming wrapped, romance did not spark until 2020 when they reconnected on the set of Young Sheldon. They have been inseparable ever since.

It was only fitting that Rex be a part of Reba’s most recent television venture. He shares his excitement for the upcoming season of Happy’s Place, and teases that there are “rumors” that his character Emmett and Bobbie get together. He jokes:
“It would be great for Bobbie, I mean, if she was with Emmett. I mean, that’s how I look at it.”
His country superstar girlfriend rolls her eyes dramatically in the background. Watch Reba & Rex’s fun video from the set of Happy’s Place below!
