Reba McEntire’s NBC sitcom Happy’s Place is set to feature its most star-studded cast yet.
Season two of Happy’s Place has been in full swing since its premiere on November 7, and fans are excited to see all of the mischief the cast will get into this time around.
If you’ve been watching, you know the show follows Bobbie, played by McEntire. In the first season, fans watched her navigate life after inheriting her father’s bar, Happy’s Place.
On top of that, she has to figure out how to connect with her long-lost half sister, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), as they learn to run the bar together. It was definitely a season full of emotion, fun, and heartwarming moments.
Bobbie’s friends also won viewers’ hearts along the way, including bartender Gabby (Melissa Peterman), cook Emmett (Rex Linn), accountant Steve (Pablo Castelblanco), and waiter Dakota (Tokala Black Elk).

In season 2, the same fun-loving energy and antics are back, and this time they’re adding some new faces.
Fans know the show quickly became famous for its special guest stars. Many well-known actors made cameos in season 1, including Justina Machado as Isabella’s mom and Shameless star Emma Kenney as Bobbie’s daughter.
And who could forget the mini Reba reunion when McEntire’s former costars Steve Howey and Christopher Rich appeared in their own episodes?
Happy’s Place Adds Two New Superstar Guest Stars
Before the season 2 premiere, it was announced that the show would feature three new special guest stars. Back To The Future‘s Christopher Lloyd, The Princess Bride, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star Carol Kane, and Saturday Night Live alum Cheri Oteri were all confirmed to take on various roles.
Now, two more A-list celebrities are joining the mix.
On Thursday, January 8, Variety reported that five-time Emmy winner Jane Lynch and Golden Globe nominee Eric Stonestreet will appear on Happy’s Place sometime this season.
Lynch, who you may know from Glee, the Wreck-It Ralph movie series, and more, will play Gabby’s (Peterman) mother, Valerie.
Stonestreet, known for his character Cameron Tucker on Modern Family, will take on the role of Dr. Russell Peabody III, an unconventional therapist who attempts to help Bobbie (McEntire) and Isabella (Escobedo) resolve their conflicts.
Happy’s Place is currently on a holiday break until January 16, but all of the upcoming excitement in season 2 seems like it’ll be worth the wait!
