Paley Honors Fall Gala Will Recognize Reba McEntire

Reba McEntire is adding another award to her name.

Recently, it was announced that McEntire is one of the few people chosen to be honored at the Paley Center for Media’s 2025 Paley Honors Fall Gala, Variety confirms.

The country music superstar and actress will receive the night’s top award for her achievements. The ceremony will take place on November 10.

In a statement, the Paley Center credited McEntire’s selection to the fact that she is “a member of both the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Hollywood Bowl, she has earned over fifty awards, including honors from the ACMs, CMAs, Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards and GMA Dove Awards.”

They also acknowledged her as a recipient of the 2018 Kennedy Center Honors and her philanthropic efforts.

Although the “Fancy” singer has earned countless awards and recognitions over the years, this one is especially meaningful. It reminds her of when she was just a little girl with a dream.

“Ever since I was a little girl watching Annie Oakley on our black and white TV in Oklahoma, I was captivated by the magic of media and entertainment,” McEntire shared. “Back then, I could never have imagined seeing myself on that screen. I’m grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had, and it means so much to me to receive this honor from the Paley Center.”

Fans Are Getting Happy’s Place Season 2 Very Soon

Just three days before Reba McEntire accepts her Paley honor, her hit sitcom Happy’s Place will return for its second season.

The queen of country and her cast mates, Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Rex Linn, Pablo Castelblanco, and Tokala Black Elk, will all grace our television screens again starting November 7.

Not only that, but the show has already confirmed three special guest stars who will be making appearances.

For those who watched season one, you’ll remember that the series quickly became known for its guest stars. This included the nostalgic reunion of McEntire’s former Reba co-stars Steve Howey and Christopher Rich, who each made cameos in their own episodes.

This time, fans will see Back To The Future‘s Christopher Lloyd join in on the fun. The Princess Bride star Carol Kane and Saturday Night Live alum Cheri Ohteri will also take on a role for season 2.
