Reba McEntire and Jimmy Fallon are kicking off the holiday season a bit early this year by recreating one of Reba’s classic throwback Christmas photos.

During her appearance on the nighttime talk show, McEntire discussed everything from her music and life to her newly released sitcom, Happy’s Place.

And, of course, when you bring The Tonight Show host and McEntire together, you can almost count on some funny moments to unfold between them. At one point during the interview, Fallon mentions that he has a few photos of McEntire he’d like to share and asks for her expert opinion on how she manages to be such a great model.
The first photo Fallon pulled out was an ’80s glamour shot of McEntire, showcasing her in a denim-on-denim outfit as she posed in front of the camera.
“This is called the ‘thumbs in pockets.’ That’s a classic one,” Fallon said, pointing out McEntire’s pose in the photo.
Fallon also shared photos from two of McEntire’s past album covers. One of them featured the cover image of her 1995 album Starting Over, where McEntire showed off her larger-than-life red hair.
The other photo was from her 1996 album What If It’s You, and Fallon appeared to be blown away by the concept of this particular image.
“I don’t know how you even do that,” Fallon exclaimed. “You’re leaning on two pillars at once, and it’s nearly impossible, but I think it’s fantastic.”
To which McEntire jokingly added, “That’s also the look ‘Are we done yet?'”
To wrap up the segment, Fallon saved what might be the best photo for last. The final image was a Christmas-themed shoot McEntire had done years ago. In the photo, she is seen smiling at the camera while standing in the middle of a large gold picture frame decorated with red ribbon and mistletoe.
Fallon was such a fan of the Christmas photo that he asked the queen of country music if she would recreate the image with him right then on the show.
“I do love this holiday frame, and I don’t have a Christmas card,” Fallon said to McEntire. “I was just wondering if you wouldn’t mind, would you do me a favor? Could we do a pose for my holiday card?”
To McEntire’s surprise, Fallon was more than ready for the fun photo op, even bringing his own red wig to mimic the iconic locks of the “I Can’t” singer. Together, they posed in a replica gold picture frame, snapping a photo that couldn’t have been more perfect!
