John Daly Hospitalized For Emergency Surgery In Florida

58-year-old professional golfer John Daly is known for his rough-and-tumble lifestyle and has become an icon in the industry. Daly has never adhered to the typical “country club” demeanor and is rarely seen playing without a cigarette in his mouth. He famously jokes that he does not drink water or eat vegetables.

Despite this apparent lack of concern for his health, Daly has found great success in the sports world. His long backswing and far driving distance made him noteworthy among his competitors. The California native has won competitions all over the world and is most famous for his wins at the 1991 PGA Championship and the 1995 Open Championship.
