Bryce Drummond, the 22-year-old son of the Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, has lost an appeal to restore his driving privileges.
On August 1, the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals upheld Bryce Drummond’s driver’s license revocation. The oldest son of Ree and Ladd Drummond was arrested in 2024 for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
According to The Oklahoman, a Stillwater, Oklahoma, police officer was responding to a call about a disturbance near Drummond’s home when he saw a truck’s headlights turn on. He approached the vehicle to find Bryce in the driver’s seat and initiated a field sobriety test, which Drummond failed.

Drummond was arrested “on suspicion of actual physical control of a vehicle while under the influence.” The arrest led to the temporary revocation of Drummond’s driver’s license. A county judge dismissed the charge earlier this year, but a separate charge filed by Service Oklahoma led to Drummond losing his right to “freely drive” for 180 days.
“Under terms of the revocation found in court records, he was allowed to continue driving his personal vehicle with an interlock device that prevents a vehicle from operating unless the driver provides a clean breath sample. The terms also allowed him to drive an employer’s vehicle that does not have the device installed,” according to The Oklahoman.
Bryce Drummond Filed An Appeal
Drummond and his attorney, Ky Corley, filed an appeal. Corley argued that the reporting officer didn’t have the authority to approach the vehicle without a warrant and that there was no evidence that Drummond was in “actual physical control of a vehicle while on public roads, highways, streets, turnpikes or any other public place.”

While awaiting his court date for the appeal, Drummond was pulled over and ticketed for driving with a revoked license. The ticket was dismissed due to the pending appeal.
On Friday, August 1, the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals upheld the initial driver’s license revocation, saying they agreed with the district court’s decision. Corley said he plans to appeal the ruling further and take it to the Oklahoma Supreme Court.
