“Pioneer Woman” Ree Drummond Celebrates Daughter Paige’s Engagement To David Andersen
The “Pioneer Woman” Ree Drummond has had a lot of happy news to celebrate in her family lately, including her daughter Paige’s engagement!
First, in June, Ree’s eldest child, Alex, announced that she and her husband, Mauricio Scott, are expecting their first child. They’re due to welcome a baby girl in January.
Alex and Mauricio’s baby will be Ree and her husband Ladd’s first grandchild. Ree and Ladd have a total of five children: Alex, Paige, Bryce, Jamar, and Todd.

Ree Drummond Reveals Future Son-In-Law David’s “Top-Secret” Plan To Surprise Paige With Proposal
Following the proposal, Ree took to her “Pioneer Woman” blog to share all the details behind her daughter’s engagement.
“I am so relieved I can finally share this news because the stress was getting to me,” Ree said. “I have kept it a secret (from Paige, but also from like, everyone else on the planet) for about six weeks, and I can finally exhale.”
Ree said the proposal was a surprise for Paige, but not her family. They all came to Dallas to be with her after David popped the question.

Ree promised to share even more details about “the behind-the-scenes drama involved with pulling off a whole top-secret engagement” in a later blog post. For now, she joked about how she and her family had to tell “outright lies” and deceive Paige “to make sure she didn’t grow suspicious.”
“There was no greater co-conspirator (liar) during this herculean effort than me, Paige’s very own mother, and I can’t wait to share with you all the red herrings I put in her path,” Ree said. “It takes a village to pull one over on Paige Drummond, and between David, Alex, Mauricio, Ladd and me, David’s family, and their big circle of friends—not to mention Paige’s brothers and a couple of cowboys—I think it worked.”
Ree ended her post by saying she is “so happy” for Paige and David, and that they make “a terrific team.” You can see more photos from their engagement day in the post below.
