It’s already that time…time to start thinking about Thanksgiving! If you want to try a few new recipes this year, the “Pioneer Woman” Ree Drummond has you covered.

Whether you’re preparing days in advance or need some last-minute recipes on Thanksgiving Day, Ree has something for you!

The ink is not yet dry on all the Halloween recipes…but I thought I’d go ahead and kick things off today with this helpful post!! Never to early to plan yer [Thanksgiving] menu!” Ree shared on Facebook in early November 2022.

Ree’s Facebook post linked to a slideshow on her official Pioneer Woman website. The slideshow was authored by Kara Zauberman, and features tons of Ree’s go-to Thanksgiving recipes.

Kara and Ree labeled these recipes as “easy,” and to make things even better, they can all be made in advance!

Ree loves Thanksgiving because you can make many of the holiday’s recipes ahead of time. She said, “I like the ritual of starting on Monday and prepping all week.”

By preparing some of your recipes in advance, you’ll be free to enjoy more time with your loved ones on Thanksgiving. As Ree shared, you can make everything from mashed potatoes to stuffing before Thanksgiving arrives.

You can even make the turkey ahead of time!

Want an appetizer idea? You could try Ree’s caramelized onion dip. If you want to shake things up with a unique side dish, Ree has a recipe for a shaved Brussels sprouts salad. As for dessert, you could make Ree’s pecan pie, or make something a little different like her pumpkin cheesecake.
