Gabby Barrett’s son ended up with a messy haircut, courtesy of his older sister.
Country singer Gabby Barrett and her husband, Cade Foehner, share three children together: daughters Baylah May (4) and Ivy Josephine (1), and son Augustine Boone (3).
Needless to say, balancing life with young kids can definitely be a handful, and Gabby recently experienced that when her oldest daughter decided to try out her barber skills on her little brother.
The American Idol alum shared the funny moment on her Instagram story. In one photo, fans can see Baylah holding a pair of purple scissors while her little brother stands on a chair next to her. A big pile of hair is lying at his feet.
Gabby didn’t give any context at first, but her next post revealed what went down. She shared a photo of Augustine standing in their front yard with a newly shaved head.
“Someone got a buzz cut in the front yard after big sister decided she was a barber,” she wrote ontop of the photo.
Gabby never showed the full result of her son’s haircut after his sister got creative, but it’s safe to say that if she ended up having to shave it all off, it probably wasn’t a masterpiece.
Well, it’s one of those parenting moments you’ll never forget!
Chances are, those scissors have now been moved somewhere much harder to reach.
Gabby Barrett Drops Her Very First Christmas Album
When Gabby isn’t handling impromptu haircuts, she’s been busy making music. Earlier this month, she released her first-ever Christmas album, titled Carols and Candlelight.
The album inlcudes 11 holiday tracks, featuring classic Christmas songs like “O Holy Night” and “Last Christmas.”
Fans also get three collaborations, including a special duet with her husband Cade, where they sing “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”
