On the two-month anniversary of Phil’s passing, the Robertson family formally invited the public to attend a day full of events celebrating his life.

The celebration will mark the return of Duck Commander Sunday, a daylong event that the Robertson family started prior to the launch of their reality show, Duck Dynasty. According to Phil’s daughter-in-law, Korie, Duck Commander Sunday was a way for Phil to use “whatever spotlight was on him to point people directly to Jesus.”

It seemed only fitting that they bring the day back to honor Phil’s life. The public is invited to the Duck Commander warehouse on August 31 from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for “a full day of worship, food trucks, live music, special guests, and vendor booths.”

According to Eventbrite, the schedule of events includes a church service, duck calling contest, live music, a watch party of classic Duck Commander films, and a headlining concert to be announced.

Those interested in attending are encouraged to follow Duck Commander Warehouse on Instagram for updates.
