Viral Singer Oliver Anthony Gets Ready For Arrival Of Baby Boy In November
Oliver Anthony became famous overnight after the YouTube channel radiowv shared a video of him performing an original song, “Rich Men North of Richmond.” The song soared to the #1 spot on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, where it sat for two weeks.

Oliver has opened up to his fans in several posts on social media. Shortly after “Rich Men” took off, he revealed his real name is Christopher Anthony Lunsford. He adopted the stage name “Oliver Anthony” to honor his grandfather, who had the same name.
He shared more of his backstory:
“In 2010, I dropped out of high school at age 17. I have a GED from Spruce Pine, NC. I worked multiple plant jobs in Western NC, my last being at the paper mill in McDowell county. I worked 3rd shift, 6 days a week for $14.50 an hour in a living hell. In 2013, I had a bad fall at work and fractured my skull. It forced me to move back home to Virginia. Due to complications from the injury, it took me 6 months or so before I could work again. From 2014 until just a few days ago, I’ve worked outside sales in the industrial manufacturing world.”
He also spoke about his property in Farmville, Virginia, which he purchased in 2019. At the time, he was living in a 27′ camper with a tarp as a roof.
Oliver Anthony Reportedly Has A Wife & Two Children…Plus One On The Way
Other than that, little is known about Oliver’s personal life. His three dogs, who often appear in his videos, are his only family members fans have seen.
On August 27, the New York Post published a report that Oliver is married and has two children. According to “sources in the local music industry” who spoke with the Post, his wife’s name is Tiffany Lunsford.

Those sources also told the publication that Oliver has two children and one on the way. They shared he was expecting a third child in November.
At the very least, that last statement has been confirmed by Oliver. He shared a post on social media announcing a new show scheduled for October 28 at the Joan Perry Brock Center in Farmville. Oliver said it will likely be his last show before his new baby arrives:
“I had to squeeze in one more show before our baby boy comes at the beginning of November, and there’s no place like home,” he wrote in the caption.
