A Terrifying Crash At Talladega
NASCAR‘s Blaine Perkins was involved in a crash during Saturday’s (April 22) Xfinity Series race at the famous Talladega Speedway.
The wreck occurred on lap 49. Perkins was in 33rd place at the time. He was struck by Dexter Stacey, causing him to hit the backstretch wall head-on.
It was scary to watch as Perkins’ car was struck again by Jade Buford. This caused Perkins’ car to flip and go into a barrel roll down the track. It rolled at least six times before it finally stopped.
Commentators remarked the crash was “one of the scariest [they’ve] seen in a long time.”
