Country artist Morgan Wallen celebrated the 1st birthday of his son Indigo Wilder this past weekend. He took to Instagram to share multiple photos from the rodeo-themed party. The photos show Wallen and his son smiling for the camera as well as Indigo crying next to his birthday cake.
“1 year of being a legend. Happy birthday, son,” Morgan wrote. Then in regards to the birthday cake, “And yeah I took ‘smash cake’ a little too literally.”

Wallen’s ex and Indigo’s mother, KT Smith, also posted some photos which included some of the desserts and decorations. One photo shows her and Indigo twinning in their matching red bandanas. In another photo, Wallen carries little Indigo on his shoulders while crouching in front of Smith and her family members.

The two of them welcomed Indie into the world on July 10, 2020, in Nashville, Tennessee. Three days after his son’s birth, Wallen posted on Instagram to announce his love for little Indie Wilder. On June 8, 2021, Morgan shared a photo of the two of them cuddling on a chair together. “1 more day to be my little kids dad…lord knows I’m a lucky man.”
