Another Contestant Leaves The Voice Following Tanner Frick’s Previous Departure
Mor Ilderton of Team Gwen is the second contestant to drop out of The Voice this season.
During a previous episode, host Carson Daly revealed that Tanner Frick dropped out of the competition before the knockout round. The country singer started on Team Reba but was stolen by Michael Bublé in the battles.
No reason for Frick’s departure was provided. Daly simply said he left the show “after rehearsals.”

But that wasn’t the end of Season 26’s unexpected departures. When The Voice returned with the final knockouts on Monday (November 18), it was revealed that another contestant had left the show.
Team Gwen’s Mor Ilderton Drops Out Of The Voice Before The Knockouts
Ahead of her team’s knockout performance, Gwen Stefani shared that her team member, Mor Ilderton, dropped out of the competition.
Stefani didn’t provide a reason for Ilderton’s departure. She simply said he “had to go home” and would not be competing in the knockouts.
Following Ilderton’s exit, Jan Dan and Sydney Sterlace were the only competitors from Team Gwen in that particular round. Stefani chose Sterlace as the winner of the knockout and opted to save Dan. Both singers are now moving on to the playoffs.
As of press time, Ilderton has not spoken about his departure. However, the young singer has been promoting a new single on social media, titled “Stranger.” The song is set to be released on November 22.

Ilderton was first introduced to Voice fans when he performed Dylan Gossett’s “Coal” in the blind auditions. He got three chairs to turn, with Stefani being the only coach who didn’t flip her chair.
Ilderton chose Michael Bublé as his coach. He competed against Kiara Vega in the battles, with Bublé choosing her as the winner. Stefani jumped to steal Ilderton for her team and expressed how much she loved his “unique” and “raspy” voice.
“When you hear music out there, his voice feels like what’s happening right now in the world,” she said.
We wish Ilderton the best on his musical journey.
