Miranda Lambert‘s Velvet Rodeo residency kicked off in Las Vegas on September 23. Eight shows and nearly one month later, Lambert and her husband Brendan McLoughlin are finally back home in Tennessee.
“We made it back from Vegas feeling both fulfilled and tuckered out from being gone a month,” Lambert said in a post on Instagram.
She and McLoughlin celebrated their return home by enjoying a big pasta dinner together. Lambert said the meal was prepared by McLoughlin, who made lasagna, chicken Parmesan, and fettuccine Alfredo for their meal.
“Ain’t no welcome home like some homemade happiness by @brendanjmcloughlin…#luckylady,” Lambert said alongside a video of their delicious meal.
Lambert and McLoughlin shared a little bit of their food with their dogs Delta Dawn, Cher, and Bellamy. Lambert said, “mutts eating pasta should be a thing… lady and the tramp movie! anyone?”

The Velvet Rodeo residency picks back up in late November. Additional dates are scheduled in December and in March and April of next year. So Lambert and McLoughlin have plenty of time to enjoy more home cooked meals together before they head back to Vegas!
