“American Pickers” star Mike Wolfe’s outlook on life has completely changed ever since he and his girlfriend were involved in a serious car accident last fall.
In September 2025, Wolfe and his girlfriend, Leticia Cline, were driving a 1958 Porsche along Highway 7 just outside of Columbia, Tennessee, when they were struck by an SUV.
Both suffered serious injuries in the crash, with Cline’s being more severe than Wolfe’s. The day after the accident, she shared the extent of their injuries on her Instagram Story.
Cline had broken her jaw in three places, fractured a rib and her sternum, suffered a collapsed lung, and had swelling along her spine.
She shared that she would have to undergo multiple surgeries and eventually have her mouth wired shut to allow her jaw to heal properly.
As for Wolfe, he suffered a broken nose and injuries to his knee and wrist. He was released from the hospital a day later.

Five months later, Wolfe is getting back to work with his new show, History’s Greatest Picks. The series premiered on Sunday, February 22.
Although he has physically recovered, Wolfe is still mentally recovering from the crash. One positive, he says, is that the experience has completely changed his mindset.
In an interview with PEOPLE ahead of his new series, Wolfe opened up about how his life has changed “forever.”
“I’ve learned that time is so precious and that none of us have a crystal ball,” the 61-year-old says. “I mean, we’ve been also thrown into a system where we’ve been testifying in front of a court and [the other driver is] charged with vehicular assault. It’s just another level of life that we’ve walked through together.”
He continued, “It’s one of those things that changes you forever. You play the accident over and over and again in your mind. But eventually, when that calms, then there’s this elevated sense of perspective on what’s important and what’s not.”
Cline is also focusing on the positive as she continues to heal. She’s been sharing health updates on social media and has made a lot of progress over the past few months.
