Season 28 Of The Voice Is Coming Soon

This fall, The Voice kicks off its 28th season with returning coaches Michael Bublé, Niall Horan, Snoop Dogg, and Reba McEntire taking their seats in the iconic red chairs.

Fans are excited to see the coaches back together and are expecting a pretty competitive season. All of them have led contestants to victory in the past, except Snoop Dogg, who previously coached only in season 26.

As for the others, Bublé is the reigning champion, having won seasons 27 and 26. McEntire won in season 25, and Horan won during seasons 24 and 23.

At the end of last month, The Voice released its first look at the new season, featuring a video of all the coaches returning for the first day of blind auditions.

For fans who tune in to the season premiere, NBC has already confirmed that the first episode will be two hours long. After that, new episodes will air on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/9c.

Now, as we get closer to the premiere date, The Voice has dropped another sneak peek of what to expect.

And to very little surprise, it includes a lot of fun banter between all four coaches.

The clip opens with Bublé showing off what might be his good-luck charm for the season: a pair of socks that has McEntire’s face all over them.

The video then cuts to a montage of upcoming moments from the blind auditions.

We see Snoop Dogg jokingly ask, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?” to which McEntire replies, “Who, me?”

There’s also a scene with a Niall Horan superfan and a moment where Horan is sent to some sort of penalty box, with Bublé saying in the background that it’s because Horan was “looking too good.”

Although the teaser was just a few seconds long, it’s clear that season 28 will keep viewers on their toes, especially with these superstar coaches back together.

What We Already Know About Season 29

Season 28 hasn’t even premiered yet, but NBC is already looking ahead. Recently, it was revealed who the coaches will be for season 29, set to air in 2026.

John Legend, Adam Levine, and Kelly Clarkson will return. This will be a bit of a change since the show usually features four coaches.

But that’s not the only change coming in season 29. In fact, the whole season will get a major revamp.

Titled The Voice: Battle of Champions, it will include “fast-paced, competitive elements,” according to a report from Deadline.

The show will also introduce a new “Triple Turn Competition.” This will be four rounds where the coaches compete to earn the most three-chair turns. The winning coach will receive a special “Super Steal” to use during battle rounds.

During the knockouts, each coach will bring back two fan-favorite artists from their past teams to compete in an “In-Season All-Star Competition.” Whoever has the most wins will earn a second finalist spot in the finale.

The changes don’t stop there. Even voting will be different in season 29.

For the first time, the winner will be declared by a new voting block made up of super fans and past Voice contestants.

It’s also been confirmed that original coach CeeLo Green will return to announce the season’s winner during the finale.
