Luke And Nicole Combs Revealed They Were Expecting Their Third Child Back In September
On September 23, country music star Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole, shared an adorable video on their social media announcing they were getting ready to welcome another baby.
In the post, Luke’s song “Days Like This” plays as he and Nicole surprise their two sons, Tex (3) and Beau (2), with sonogram photos of their future little brother or sister.

Luke and Nicole shared that their baby would arrive sometime this winter, but didn’t give an exact due date. They also didn’t reveal the baby’s gender, so fans were left wondering whether they’d be welcoming another boy or their very first girl.
Luke Shares The Baby Names He Wants To Use
Even though they kept most of this special moment private, Luke did share a few names he had in mind before their baby’s arrival. Back in November, the “Beautiful Crazy” singer mentioned the names he really liked during an interview with Taste of Country Nights.
The 35-year-old shared he really loves the name “Flint” for a boy.
“Without approval, if I was just wildcarding it, I love the name Flint,” Luke said. “It would probably be a middle name. It would be a weird first name, but I would love to sneak that in. I doubt that that’s gonna get approved.”
He also had a couple of options if they were having a girl, but he joked that Nicole probably wouldn’t be into them.
“For a girl name, I feel like I would go with something old-school — something like Olive,” he said. “My grandmother’s name was Donna. That’s not a common name either, but I think that would be kinda sick.”
The Combs Welcome Their Third Child
Luke and Nicole Combs welcomed their little bundle of joy a few weeks early, though the couple didn’t reveal the newborn’s arrival date.
On Thursday, February 19, they took to their social media to announce the exciting news.
“Happy due date to the littlest Combs BOY! We’ve loved soaking up these last few weeks of newborn snuggles,” Nicole captioned a series of photos before revealing his name. “Chet Wiley Combs 🩵”
Little Chet joins brothers Tex Lawrence (born June 19, 2022) and Beau Lee (born August 15, 2023).
