Actor Luke Grimes has become widely known over the past few years for his role as Kayce Dutton on the hit TV series Yellowstone.
Luke’s character was so well loved by fans, he was brought back on for the show’s newest spin-off, Marshals, a series now focused solely on Kayce’s life. Kayce has taken on a new role leading a U.S. Marshals team in Montana, with his grown son Tate (Brecken Merrill) joining him.
The move comes after Kayce sold the family ranch and chose to start over, following the events of Yellowstone’s season finale, which brought the Paramount Network series to a close. The first two episodes have been packed with action and set the stage for Kayce’s journey ahead.
Luke Grimes Shares How He Met His Wife, Bianca
Although Luke is known for keeping his private life out of the spotlight, he recently shared the story of how he met his wife, Bianca Rodrigues.
The actor revealed in an interview with Drew Barrymore that the couple actually met through a dating app. At the time, he said he was going through a lonely period and decided to try it after a friend encouraged him.
Bianca ended up being the very first date he went on from the app and just four months later the couple were married. Luke shared that meeting Bianca, a Brazilian model who moved to the U.S. to pursue her career, completely changed his perspective on life.
“I found the thing I didn’t know I was looking for,” Luke shared. “And now, everything else is just sort of a cherry on top.”
In October 2024, Luke and Bianca welcomed their first son. Bianca first shared a photo introducing their baby boy to the world on October 9, 2024 and followed up with another photo one week later.
In a recent red carpet interview, Luke opened up a bit on how fatherhood has been this first year, gushing about how much he adores his little man.
“He’s not great at sleeping, but he’s great at everything else,” Grimes said of his son. “He’s the best. He just doesn’t sleep very well. I’m learning so much right now about the world and about myself and about him and about babies. There’s a lot to learn.”
When asked what the “funniest” thing his baby does, Grimes said having a silly sense of humor is at the top.
“He’s just a goofball,” the actor said. “And I don’t know where you get some of the stuff he comes up with. I’m not sure where he’s seeing it. Maybe me because I’m also a goofball. Could be it.”
