Actor Luke Grimes & His Wife Welcome Baby Boy In 2024
In October 2024, Yellowstone star Luke Grimes and his wife, Bianca Rodrigues Grimes, welcomed their first son. Bianca first shared a photo introducing their baby boy to the world on October 9, 2024 and followed up with another photo one week later.
The couple has remained fairly private concerning their personal life, but in a recent red carpet interview, Grimes opened up a bit on how fatherhood has been this first year.
“He’s not great at sleeping, but he’s great at everything else,” Grimes said of his son. “He’s the best. He just doesn’t sleep very well. I’m learning so much right now about the world and about myself and about him and about babies. There’s a lot to learn.”
When asked what the “funniest” thing his baby does, Grimes said having a silly sense of humor is at the top.
“He’s just a goofball,” the actor said. “And I don’t know where you get some of the stuff he comes up with. I’m not sure where he’s seeing it. Maybe me because I’m also a goofball. Could be it.”
Both personally and professionally, Grimes has been a busy man. His new hit show and Yellowstone spin-off, Marshals, officially aired on Sunday (March 1). Marshals focuses on a new chapter centered on his character, Kayce Dutton. The series will follow Kayce as he takes a decisive turn in his life.
Kayce has taken on a new role leading a U.S. Marshals team in Montana, with his grown son Tate (Brecken Merrill) joining him. The move comes after Kayce sold the family ranch and chose to start over, following the events of Yellowstone’s season finale, which brought the Paramount Network series to a close.
Luke Grimes Shares His Toddler’s Reaction To Seeing Him In Costume
While fans are ecstatic Grimes has stepped back into his role as Kayce Dutton, the actor shared his toddler just thinks its absolutely hilarious.
During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Grimes explained that he took his son to meet everyone on set and to see where he works, and immediately seeing his dad in costume the little boy burst out “laughing” at his cowboy hat the entire time.
“Making me feel very uncool about something I’m supposed to feel really cool about,” Grimes joked.
Now, the actor said his son goes around the house putting any item on his head pretending to be “dada.” Grimes then shared a bit about his “dada song,” which he explained was a silly beat that his song jammed to.
“Literally anything. A bag, laundry, it doesn’t matter,” he continued.
