Luke Combs Is Proving Himself To Be A Humble Guy
Country singer Luke Combs has always been a seemingly down-to-earth guy, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that he remains wise with his money even after becoming a multimillionaire.
“I could have the newest and nicest of everything but I just don’t,” Combs told Taste of Country recently.
The country star said that while he does have nice things, he’s frugal in the simple areas of life.
“There’s not a lot of new underwear in my drawer, you know what I mean?”
“I mean, I have a lot of nice things that I’m very, very thankful for, but, I’ll get the most use out of what I do have,” he said.
Combs’ Sweet Little Family Of Four
Earlier this summer, Combs gave fans a rare glance into his personal life, sharing photos of his son Tex and his younger brother, Beau.
In the post, there are a few snapshots of the boys, but Combs is always cautious to protect their privacy. Whenever he posts them online, he makes sure their faces are never shown.
The post starts with a sweet video of Tex and Nicole stopping by while he’s filming a music video. Combs takes a break to greet them, and he jokes that the boy even gave him “some tips” on how to film it.
Further into the carousel, there’s a photo of Tex sitting behind the soundboard in the studio that same day, with his mom smiling down at him. It seems that Tex is already enjoying being part of his dad’s country music world!

Luke Combs Incredible Success In Country Music
In October 2024, Luke Combs was surprised to learn that he had been chosen to receive a star on the Music City Walk of Fame. The announcement came during his Bootlegger’s Bonfire event in Miramar Beach, Florida.
As he performed, a message appeared on the big screen behind him. It read, “Congratulations, Luke, on your upcoming induction into the Music City Walk of Fame.”
Located in Nashville, Tennessee, the Walk of Fame was established in 2006 to recognize those who have made an impact on the city’s music scene. Some of the artists who have their own stars include Reba McEntire, Kris Kristofferson, Dolly Parton, Randy Travis, and more.
The four-time ACM winner was officially presented with the 109th star on the Music City Walk of Fame in March 2025. He was joined by his mom, his wife Nicole, close friends, and industry colleagues who have been part of his journey.
“When I moved from North Carolina to Nashville, I had no idea what the future held for me there,” Combs wrote in a post shared to his social media. “I only hoped I could do enough in country music to pay my bills. It was never about any kind of recognition, just the love of music. And I didn’t really know anyone here at the time, but I eventually met my wife and some of my best friends. I’ll be forever grateful for this and Music City taking me in as one of their own. I get to do what I love, which is singing country music, because of it.”
