Luke Combs Chosen To Receive A Star On The Music City Walk Of Fame In Nashville
Country music superstar Luke Combs was surprised earlier this month to learn he was chosen to receive a star on the Music City Walk of Fame. Combs learned the exciting news during his Bootleggers Bonfire in Miramar Beach, Florida.
At one point during his show, Combs turned around to look at the screen behind him. A message read, “Congratulations, Luke, on your upcoming induction into the Music City Walk of Fame.”
Combs expressed his gratitude. He said, “I just want to thank my whole team, my wife, my kids…everybody that’s here, man, you know who you are.”
Guess who just found out they’re getting inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame 👀👀

The Music City Walk of Fame is located in Nashville across the street from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Established in 2006, it features stars honoring some of the biggest players in the country music industry.
A few artists with stars on the Walk of Fame include Reba McEntire, Loretta Lynn, Eric Church, Alan Jackson, and Dolly Parton.
Combs, the late Jimmy Buffett, The Fairfield Four, Colin Reed, and Bill Cody were chosen to receive stars on the Walk of Fame this year.
Why Is Luke Postponing His Induction Ceremony?
However, Combs won’t be inducted on October 30 with the rest of his class. The “Forever After All” singer announced he must delay his induction ceremony—for an honorable reason.
Combs will headline the Concert for Carolina benefit concert alongside Eric Church on October 26. Combs, a North Carolina native, vowed to do something to help his home state in the wake of Hurricane Helene.
He and Church quickly set up the Concert for Carolina. More artists have joined the lineup in recent weeks, including Keith Urban, Billy Strings, Sheryl Crow, and Scotty McCreery.
Because of his commitment to Concert for Carolina, Combs will reschedule his Music City Walk of Fame induction for a later day.
The Tennessean cites a statement from Combs.
“My apologies, everyone, with our stadium event for hurricane relief happening in Charlotte this weekend my schedule has changed. I won’t be attending the Walk of Fame ceremony later this month. Stay tuned for a later date. I want to send a huge congratulations to the other inductees, the late Jimmy Buffett and his family, The Fairfield Four, my friend Bill Cody and my partner Colin Reed, on their well-deserved recognition,”
The date of Combs’ rescheduled induction has not yet been announced.
Congratulations to Combs on his upcoming induction into the Music City Walk of Fame!
