Luke Bryan has once again touched the hearts of fans with his latest release, “Jesus ‘Bout My Kids.”
This emotional track offers a deeply personal glimpse into the star’s relationship with faith and family. It is featured on Bryan’s new album, Mind of a Country Boy, which he recently released on September 27. Mind of a Country Boy is Luke Bryan’s eighth studio album, his first full project in four years.
Bryan’s new song, “Jesus ‘Bout My Kids,” crafted by songwriters Jeff Hyde, Tucker Beathard, Ben Stennis, and Brad Rempel, is a musical prayer. It shows how Bryan’s faith has changed, from teaching his kids about Jesus to now asking Jesus for help in raising them.

The American Idol judge and his wife, Caroline, have often been open about their faith. The couple strives to instill Christian values in their children.
“When you become a parent, the anxieties of getting them through this life never go away. There’s only so much you can do,” Bryan shared to a group of reporters at a Nashville press event. “You got to turn it over to Jesus, or your higher power, to look after them, because at the end of the day, that’s what you have to kind of plant your flag in — that God and Jesus are looking after them.”
Luke Bryan and Caroline are parents to five children – two biological sons (Thomas “Bo” & Tatum (“Tate”) and three adopted kids, their nieces (Jordan & Kris) and nephew (Tilden). Their family expanded in the face of tragedy when Bryan’s sister Kelly passed away in 2007, followed by her husband Ben in 2014. Without hesitation, the Bryans welcomed their nephew and two nieces into their home.
During a 2017 interview, Caroline told ABC News that they “never thought twice about it.”
“It was never something that he and I had to sit down and talk about. ‘Should we take this on?’ We just did that,” she explained.
The official audio video for “Jesus ‘Bout My Kids” visually supports the song’s message. It shows Bryan reading a Bible and the lyrics express a father’s worries about his children possibly making wrong choices.
