Bryan noticed her singing along to every word of his song “Waves” while wearing her homemade “Country Girl Shake It For Me” t-shirt.
After the song, Bryan offered her a high five, saying “That was awesome!” and decided to invite her to join him up on stage.
Once she was lifted up onto the stage Bryan welcomed her with a hug. As the band started to play “Down To One” he asked her, “You knew every word, do you know this one?”
As thousands of fans watched on, she sang it proudly with Bryan’s arm wrapped around her.
“Y’all give it up for Darci,” Bryan said at the end of the performance as the sold-out crowd of thousands gave thunderous applause. He gave his young fan a kiss on the cheek before passing her back to her family in the crowd below.
Having Darci sing on stage wasn’t the only thing that made that night special. The concert happened to fall on Bryan’s 45th birthday. At another point in the set, Bryan’s family, friends, and opening acts Caylee Hammack and Dylan Scott interrupted the show to sing “Happy Birthday.” He was even showered with gifts that included a lamp, a fire extinguisher, and underwear.
