Luke Bryan’s Sweet Reason Why He Never Works On Fridays

Luke Bryan’s schedule is pretty packed right now as he travels the country playing shows. However, he has one exception: he does not work on Fridays for a very special reason.

During an interview with Country Countdown USA, Bryan opened up about his personal life off stage. Part of the conversation focused on his two sons, Bo (17) and Tate (15).

Now that they are teenagers, they’re involved in extracurricular activities like sports. And Bryan says he makes sure to be there and not miss out on those moments.

“Bo is playing high school football. I try to take every Friday off so I can see him play,” Bryan said.

Bo is actually a junior quarterback on his team, and obviously, that is something Bryan is very proud of. More than anything, it means a lot to Bryan to make time for his son because he knows Bo is growing up fast.

“Bo has been driving, so we don’t see him as much anymore,” the “Play It Again” singer said. “I don’t know what we’re going to do when he goes off to college,” he added.

Luke Bryan Is Currently On His Country Song Came On Tour

Luke Bryan has been touring the country all summer, but it hasn’t been easy for the singer.

The 49-year-old has had a rough time at several shows. At one point, he refunded thousands of fans because his voice was cutting in and out while performing. It was later revealed that Bryan had caught COVID and had to cancel a few concerts to recover.

On top of that, he has faced a few other minor inconveniences. At one of his first shows back after his break, he was swarmed by mayflies while singing and playing piano.

Then, he made headlines as the latest artist to have something thrown at him during a performance. A fan in the audience had thrown a ball at him, and it hit him in the face.

Bryan’s next show will take place on August 14 in Charleston, West Virginia.
