Little Big Town Enchanted New York With Their Christmas-Themed Visit

The band performed at Rockefeller Center, sang classic Christmas carols on the streets, and was interviewed on the TODAY show.

They sat down with the hosts of the TODAY show to discuss their Christmas album that they released on October 4th, 2024. The album is titled The Christmas Record and includes a mix of classic hits like “Tennessee Christmas” and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.” The band wrote original songs for the album, including “Glow,” which is perfect for listening to around the fire.

Little Big Town Performs At The Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting

The Rockefeller Center holds a tree lighting every year, that brings Christmas cheer to the magical city. The massive tree lights up the night sky and rings in the New Year.

The tradition has been a cherished holiday season highlight since 1933 and began streaming live to the nation in 1997. The tree lighting occurs on the Wednesday following Thanksgiving and features live performances.

This year, Little Big Town took the iconic stage and gave a soulful rendition of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.” Watch below.

The band did not stop there.

They also performed an Elvis Presley classic for the roaring crowd. Little Big Town took on “Santa Claus Is Back In Town” by “The King.”

Little Big Town concluded their Christmas-themed trip in New York by singing carols through the streets. The band accompanied Hoda Kotb, a broadcast journalist for the TODAY show, on their caroling adventure.
