Country singer Lee Brice is asking for help from anyone in the Middle Tennessee area as he and his family search for their missing dog.
A few days ago, Brice shared a post on social media letting fans know his family has been going through a really hard time. About two weeks ago, their beloved black Labrador, Charlee, somehow got away from home, and they’ve been searching for her ever since.
“She’s not just a dog, she’s family,” Brice wrote.
The post includes several photos of Charlee in hopes that someone might recognize her. The pictures show the sweet pup sitting in a truck, sitting in a field with Brice’s son and daughter, and a few close-up shots of her face.
But that wasn’t the end of the story. To make matters worse, Brice revealed that Charlee is also pregnant, which has made the family even more worried about her well-being.
“She’s pregnant, carrying those little pups, and every day that passes without her safe in our arms feels like a lifetime. We’ve searched every back road, called every shelter, and prayed harder than we ever have.”
“Charlee, if you’re out there, hang on, my pretty girl. Daddy’s coming for you,” Brice continued. “To everyone reading this, y’all know how much our four-legged friends mean to us country folks. If you’ve seen a pregnant dog that looks like her, or heard anything at all, please message me, comment below, or share this post. Any little clue could bring her home to her babies… and to us. Thank y’all from the bottom of this worried heart. Your kindness and prayers mean the world.”
The “Rumor” singer didn’t say exactly where Charlee first went missing, but he added that by now she could have wandered far, so it’s best to keep an eye out anywhere in the middle Tennessee area.
“She could be anywhere in or around the Nashville area… by now she could be anywhere from way south of Franklin, to past Dickson west of town, or any surrounding areas.”
So far, there’s been no confirmation that Charlee has made it back home. However, on Monday, January 19, Brice shared a hopeful update on his Instagram Story.
He said that a couple of nights ago, someone in Kingston Springs, Tennessee, may have spotted Charlee on their home security camera.
“2 nights ago in Kingston Springs could have been a potential house camera sighting,” Brice’s update began. “Had a couple videos that could be her… she has no collar on..”
Brice informed his followers that he was going to drive around the area in case she was out there.

*** UPDATE ***
