The legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band joined Daigle for her CMA Country Christmas performance.

Like Daigle, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band is from Louisiana, specifically New Orleans. The band is one of the most well-known and longest-standing jazz groups in the country, having been founded in the 1960s. President George W. Bush awarded the band the National Medal of Arts in 2006.

When they united onstage for CMA Country Christmas, Daigle and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band delivered a magical medley of festive tunes. The medley included “Jingle Bells,” “What Child Is This?” and “Winter Wonderland.” Their performance had a distinctly New Orleans vibe, with co-host Jordan Davis (another Louisiana native), saying they brought a little dose of “Creole Christmas” to the show.
