Not long after announcing that she’s expecting her first child, Lauren Alaina has officially revealed the baby’s gender with an adorable video.
Lauren Alaina shared the exciting news just a week ago that she and her husband, Cam Arnold, are expecting.
The American Idol alum surprised fans in her latest music video for “Those Kind of Women,” which ends with her proudly showing off her baby bump. The video concludes with a message that reads, “This video is dedicated to my Momma and our sweet Baby Arnold coming summer 2025.”
Since then, the “Ladies In The ’90s” singer has been posting pictures of her growing bump on social media. Lauren also shared how overwhelmed she and her husband have been by the outpouring of love and support since their big announcement.

“We are overwhelmed with the love we have received for sweet Baby Arnold,” Lauren wrote on Instagram. “Our baby is so loved already. Thank you for all the well wishes for our growing family.”

On Tuesday, January 28, Lauren Alaina officially shared whether she’s having a boy or a girl.
The mom-to-be teased fans ahead of the gender reveal. A day before she shared the big secret, Lauren posted a clip from a gender reveal video they filmed, but she kept the results a mystery. She then asked her followers to guess whether baby Arnold would be a boy or a girl.
When Lauren was ready to share the news, she did so in an adorable way that featured her pets.
The video begins in black and white, showing her and Cam using finger paint to cover their dog and cat’s paws with a color representing the baby’s gender. They then stamp their paw prints on pieces of cloth. As the video transitions into color, we see a pale pink, confirming that they are expecting a baby girl. The video ends with Lauren framing the pieces of cloth as a cute keepsake.
Fans flooded the comment section of the video with their excitement for Lauren and Cam.
