Bindi Irwin Shows Lainey Wilson Around The Australia Zoo
During her time in Australia, Lainey met Bindi Irwin, the daughter of the late Steve Irwin, at the Australia Zoo on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Known as the “Home of the Crocodile Hunter,” the zoo was established by the Irwins to promote wildlife conservation and education.
Lainey shared a video highlighting special moments from the memorable day, calling it “the time of my life.” She fed giraffes, held a snuggly Koala named Ruby, and chatted with macaws. The “Somewhere Over Laredo” singer joked that she was ready to “pack up” Ruby and take her home.

Bindi is following in her late father’s footsteps as a conservationist and zookeeper. Additionally, she is a wife and mother of one young daughter. Lainey encouraged her:
“It’s nice to see you keeping traditions alive. I think that is so important.”
Bindi agreed and emphasized the importance of choosing a legacy that is “kind and empowering.” Watch Lainey Wilson and Bindi Irwin spend a day at the Australia Zoo in the video below!
