Hillary Scott Welcomed Her Fourth Baby Girl
Lady A’s Hillary Scott is loving newborn life.. again! Hillary and her husband Chris Tyrrell welcomed their fourth daughter on July 25th.
Hillary made the announcement on social media through PEOPLE and revealed the sweet meaning of their baby girl’s name.
“We are over the moon to introduce you to Selah Jean! She was born 7/25/25. She has filled our hearts with joy and her sisters are already the BEST helpers. Her name means ‘pause and reflect’ and ‘God is gracious,’ and in the few short days she’s been here with us, we can already see that she embodies both of those phrases.”
Selah joined her three big sisters, Eisele Kay (12), and twins Emory JoAnn and Betsy Mack (7).
Hillary first posted she was pregnant back in February, with a photo of the girls all wearing “Big Sister” friendship bracelets.
“Chris, Eisele, Emory, Betsy, and I are overjoyed to report that this summer our family will be made complete with the most precious little SISTER joining the family. I’m dusting off that Maternity bin from the storage room ONE more time.” she wrote on Instagram.
The Scott Family Is Adoring Having A New Family Member In The House
Hillary recently shared with PEOPLE that their time so far with Selah has been absolutely precious, and the big girls are loving every single moment with their little sister.
“We are in a really sweet place right now,” the singer shared. “Our house is full, and our hearts are full and we’re just adjusting to life with a newborn again, and it’s so fun. She’s doing wonderful.”
She explained that everyday feels just like Christmas morning for the girls, who can’t wait to snuggle on Selah when they wake up.
“[Selah’s] sisters are just so smitten with her, I feel like my older girls come down the stairs every morning, and if I’m feeding her or she’s waking up, it’s like Christmas morning every day. It’s just so sweet,” Hillary said.
Hillary and the Lady A crew have just dropped a brand-new Christmas album and are gearing up for a festive holiday tour this December. But for now, Hillary seems perfectly content spending time where she feels most at home, with her adorable girls.
