Kelly Clarkson’s 8-year-old son, Remy, Gives an Amazing Performance of a Classic Frank Sinatra Song

On a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Clarkson shared that her two children, Remy, 8, and River, 10, were able to be there in person for the show because they were filming on an “off day.”

Clarkson had an adorable surprise for viewers, telling them that before the show started, Remy surprised the live audience with a performance of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.”

“Before the show, Remy took a moment to warm up the audience with his rendition of the Sinatra classic ‘My Way,'” Clarkson said at the beginning of the episode.

“You’re welcome,” she said before playing the clip of Remy singing.

Of course, Clarkson herself is known for being able to sing just about anything. The American Idol alumni consistently has her “Kellyoke” segment on her talk show, where she covers popular songs. In fact, many people argue that she even sings some of them better than the original artists.

So, it should come as no surprise that her kids also have an incredible knack for singing.

In the sweet video, Remy takes the stage with the show’s band playing behind him. Holding the microphone confidently, he impressively sings every word of the classic song.

After the clip aired, the show returned to Clarkson, who was smiling proudly and applauding her son’s performance.

“[He] walked right in today and said, ‘Who do I need to speak to to sing my song?’ I said, ‘Okay, sir!'” Clarkson said.

“They’re so fun. I love my kids so much,” she added.
