Kelly Clarkson’s son, Remy, had the most adorable reaction after learning that his performance of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” was getting a lot of attention.
Remington “Remy” Blackstock, the 8-year-old son of Kelly Clarkson and her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, went viral late last year after Clarkson shared a video of him singing as part of Kelly’s pre-talk show audience warm-up.

The Kelly Clarkson Show shared a brief clip of the performance in late November and it garnered more than 4 million combined social media views and counting. In early January, Remy and his sister, River, were guests on their mom’s show. During their visit, they revisited Remy’s viral moment, and Kelly shared his adorable reaction to the attention drawn by the previously released clip.
Kelly asked Remy, “How did you feel about the clip going viral? Remember when I came and I told you, ‘Everybody is loving your video’?”
Remy then asked his mom, “Yeah, how much views did I get again?”
Kelly laughed then told the audience, “I’m gonna tell you how it went down. I said, ‘Man, buddy, you’ve got like over a million views on there.’ And he goes, ‘Do you get that many views?’ I was like, ‘Calm down. And not often.'”
Kelly Clarkson also shared the video of Remy’s full performance, and once again, it drew a lot of attention.
Within 24 hours of the full video’s release, it had gained more than 4 million views on Facebook alone. Remy’s performance is likely not the last we’ll hear from him. According to his mom and sister, Remy loves to sing and keeps them entertained at home.

“It’s a performance at my house, always,” Kelly said, stating that Remy sings Sinatra in his room while River prefers to sing country music in hers.
It’s no surprise that both of Clarkson’s kids inherited the musical gene. Not only are they the children of one of the biggest stars in the industry, but their father is a talent manager, and their grandfather, Narvel Blackstock, is a producer and musician.
