Kelly Clarkson will be returning to Las Vegas to continue her residency after taking a break over the past few months to focus on her family.
Earlier this summer, Clarkson announced she would be coming to Las Vegas with a residency titled The Studio Sessions at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace.
The first few shows went smoothly, aside from opening weekend, when she had to postpone a show due to vocal strain.
However, in August, the “Stronger” singer shared that she would be postponing the rest of her shows that month. She posted a statement letting fans know she was dealing with a family emergency.
“Unfortunately, I need to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Session dates in Las Vegas,” Clarkson said at the time. “While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them.”
Sadly, the next day, it was revealed that Clarkson’s ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, had passed away. He had been privately battling cancer for three years prior.

Following the tragic loss, Clarkson took time to focus on her family and stepped away from the spotlight.
A little over a month later, she made her first public appearance when she returned to The Kelly Clarkson Show for its season premiere.
Now, the three-time Grammy winner is ready to get back on stage, too. On Tuesday, October 7, Clarkson confirmed that she’ll be returning to resume the rest of her Las Vegas residency.
“VEGAS! We’re back in one month, who’s joining us?” Clarkson wrote alongside a photo from one of her Vegas concerts.
Her upcoming shows are scheduled for November 7-8 and November 14-15, wrapping up for the year. Then, she will be back for more performances in July and August 2026.
