Keith Urban Gives Back This Christmas
Country superstar Keith Urban is making a difference this holiday season!
Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt is a pediatric hospital in Nashville that provides specialized medical care to children from across Tennessee and the surrounding region as part of Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The hospital provides specialized care for infants, children, and adolescents, specializing in everything from emergency and trauma care to cancer and heart treatment.
According to their website, Monroe Carrel is ranked nationally in 10 specialties, and offer the highest-level NICU.
Located in the heart of Nashville, the hospital has become a frequent stop for country music artists looking to brighten the days of young patients.

The “Somebody Like You” Singer Stops By Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital
Urban recently stopped by Monroe Carell to meet young patients and their families. The country music star even hosted an intimate acoustic sing-along, answered questions from fans, took photos, and gifted guitars to benefit the hospital’s music therapy program.
The visit took place at Seacrest Studios inside the hospital. Meg Rush, MD, MMHC, president of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, expressed appreciation for the visit, saying the staff is “truly grateful” for Urban’s incredible generosity.
“Keith is a wonderful friend to our hospital with several visits over the years,” Rush said.
The donated guitars will go to support Monroe Carell’s music therapy program. According to the hospital, the program provides “emotional support, pain and anxiety management, developmental goals, coping, and overall well-being to children and families.”
