The ACM Honors Highlights The “Behind-The-Scenes Titans” Of The Industry

“Country Music industry’s favorite night” is back!

According to the Academy of Country Music’s official website, the ACM Honors are the industry favorite. They are more intimate than the ACM Awards held in May and give special attention to those who make country music happen. This year marks the 17th annual celebrationon.

Jordan Davis, who won Song of the Year for co-writing “Next Thing You Know,” said on the ACM Website:

“I’ve performed at ACM Honors for the past two years and love that the show celebrates the behind-the-scenes titans in this industry, as well as so many of the artists I’ve looked up to for years.”

Davis will host this year’s ACM Honors alongside four-time ACM winner and three-time host Carly Pearce.

Who Is Being Honored?

This year, the list of honorees includes Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, Luke Bryan, Alan Jackson, and many more country favorites.

The ACM Honors is unique as it highlights the “Behind-The-Scenes Titans,” including the “off-camera category winners, and ACM Industry Awards and Studio Recording Awards.”

Keith Urban’s 2024 ACM Honors Performance

Many incredible performances stacked the ACM Honors. One standout performance was by none other than Keith Urban, who sang “Messed Up As Me” in honor of Jessie Jo Dillon. Dillon was being celebrated as this year’s ACM Songwriter of the Year.

During a pre-show interview with WSMV, Urban revealed what it meant to him to be able to perform for Dillon at the event. He shared:

“To get to honor Jessie Jo Dillon tonight at the Ryman with such a great song…I mean, really, I’m honored. She’s an amazing songwriter. I mean, she’s cut from a great cloth, so she can definitely write a song.”

This is not Keith Urban’s first time performing at the ACM Honors, He took the stage in 2023 with Breland and performed their hit collaboration “Throw It Back.”
