Before Krewe’s birth, Kane and Katelyn were already parents to two daughters: four-year-old Kingsley and two-year-old Kodi. Now, as they settle into life as a family of five, Kane and Katelyn cherish capturing and sharing special moments with their children on social media.
Recently, Katelyn shared a heartwarming video of their daughters meeting their baby brother for the first time, marking Krewe’s two-week milestone.
In the video, Kane guides the girls into the hospital room to see their mom and new baby brother. Carefully, they climb onto the bed, leaning in to get a closer look at the newborn. Kane cradles the baby as the girls gently reach out to touch him.
“How has it already been 2 weeks with our little man? Time flies,” Katelyn captioned the sweet clip.
Unlike their past pregnancies, Kane and Katelyn have been very open about their journey welcoming their first son.
After Kodi’s birth, Kane explained that one reason they kept that pregnancy secret was due to someone else revealing their big news prematurely.
“I’m not bashing anybody, but last time, I sent a picture to my older brother, and he put it on social media before we announced it,” the country singer revealed during an interview with the Bobby Bones Show. “So everybody already knew about it, and it was kind of upsetting.”
During an Instagram Q&A in March, Katelyn explained their decision to be more transparent this time around.
“Because, at that season of my life, I just was craving some privacy and needed that space from the world. And this time, I feel content and don’t care as much what people think or say.”
