Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn, recently welcomed their third child, a son named Krewe Allen Brown.
Krewe was born on June 18, joining big sisters Kingsley Rose and Kodi Jane and continuing the family’s theme of everyone having the initials KB.
Kane and Katelyn shared their pregnancy news on Christmas 2023,
“Last Christmas of 4,” Kane wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of him with his family.
Kingsley was holding an ultrasound photo, revealing her mama’s pregnancy.
Throughout the next several months, Katelyn shared moments of her pregnancy, including the shocking moment they found out they were having a boy. Both thought they were destined to be parents to only girls, so finding out Baby #3 was a boy was a big surprise.

While his son’s name would always start with a K, it wouldn’t be Krewe.
In a new interview with CMT backstage at his show in Denver, Brown was asked a bunch of questions, including how it’s been going transitioning from two to three kids. He said it hasn’t been much different, but he has spent lots of time with his two daughters.
The interviewer also asked how Krewe got his name. Kane revealed he and Katelyn had picked a different name for their son!
“My go-to was Kasper with a K. I thought it was sick. My wife thought it was cool,” he said. “We called her family and they start laughing at us. So we ended up having to change the name.”
We think Krewe is a petty cool name, regardless of their choice!
Watch him explain it in the video below.
